She is very supportive of other State Associations, and in fact considers the NAPPS State Summits one of her greatest career accomplishments during her time on the NAPPS Board.

The Rustands share five grown children, seven grandchildren, a love for family and the outdoors. Hobbies, they both enjoy fishing, boating, camping and hunting. MaryLee spends her spare time quilting, knitting and crocheting.

Legal Support Management Team

Monica Unser: In addition to being the Corporate Vice President, Monica is also the Corporate Operations Director, and oversees all aspects and business matters within the “Legal Support Services” division of the company. Monica came to work with SSP in 1987, and has proven to be a valued asset to the success of SSP. Clients rely on Monica to address their service of process needs in a proficient manner. Most clients feel that Monica works for them as she watches out for their needs and sees that their instructions are followed. She is a quiet woman who simply wants to do a good job, in a timely manner.

Tracy Williams: Corporate Secretary, Corporate Accounting Manager. Tracy came to work for SSP in 1986 and was in fact the first employee hired by Greg and MaryLee Rustand the business owners. She has worked every phase of the business, ranging form Legal Courier, Process Server, Security Officer, retail and uniformed, Flag and Traffic control, Receptionist, Legal Support Services, Forwarding Department, etc., if this company offered a service, chances are she was involved on one level or another of that service. Tracy is very liked by everyone and is always happy to assist our client's needs.

As the Corporate Accounting Manager, Tracy manages all accounts payable, receivable, payroll and other financial matters of importance with SSP. If you have any questions regarding billings, please ask for Tracy.

Diane Pefley: Corporate Treasurer, acting Administrative Manager of the Easter Washington branch office, A2Z Legal Support Services.  Diane joined the Corporate Team in 1999, and has done an outstanding job, not only in managing the branch office, but for covering the largest section f the State in a professional manner.  Diane is the most outgoing member of our management team, she actively markets and gets out and serves those “rush papers” when other servers are not available, sometimes she serves papers just to prove to her servers that she can still out serve any of them.  Clients enjoy working with Diane, she always has a smile.

Diane has received two awards since she came to SSP, first in 2001, Diane was presented with the Legal Support Service Division Achievement Award, the second award was for Employee of the Year 2006.

If you attend NAPPS or WSPSA meetings you will most likely meet Diane.  She is on the WSPSA Board of Directors, and attends most of the NAPPS meetings.

Amy Sperline: Forward Agent for the Moses Lake branch office of A2Z Legal Support since 2005.  Locally born and raised, this outgoing young lady is always happy and willing to take on other tasks which helps with day to day rush of papers.  Amy previously worked as a clerk for Grant County Courthouse and is a wealth of knowledge.  In addition to working, Amy is attending school and raising her daughter.  We are sitting back and watching this young woman expand her horizons, she’s amazing.

Bob Gardner: Security Operations Director. Bob Gardner joined the SSP Management Team in October of 2006, following an extensive thirty (30) year career in law enforcement, culminated by a thirty (30) month tour with the United Nations as the Director of the Kosovo Police Service in the former Yugoslavia. Bob retired as a Chief Deputy from the Island County Sheriff's Office, following his twenty (20) year career in the US Navy, retiring as Master Chief Petty Officer, (E-9) after completing his four (4) year tour as the Chief of Police at NAS Whidbey Island. Bob is a graduate of the FBI National Academy (168th session) and attended the University of Virginia, Charlottesville.

SSP is extremely happy to have Bob here as a member of our team, and can assure our clients that Bob is here to assist their lost prevention needs, and is eager to work with everyone.

Special Mention to outstanding Process Server Professionals:

John Mckay: John is amazing, simply amazing.  He handles the Northwest region of the state, Skagit, Island, and parts of Whatcom County, and occasionally serves in Snohomish County as well.  John as been working with SSP since 1996, he has served more papers than any other employee working in this area.

Junior Zane: JR has been working with the Moses Lake branch office since 1999.  With fifteen (15) years experience, he’s our “Top” process server in Eastern Washington.  Junior is a US. Marine Vet, who enjoys hunting, and playing golf in his spare time.  Diane and others agree, Junior is the greatest asset of A2Z when it comes down to “Getting the Job Done”.

J&J Process: Jennifer and Jeff Roddel has a great team when it comes to slamming down the process.  Jennifer has been associated with the Service of Process since 1976.  Her Dad stated serving papers in Anchorage Alaska when she was less than a year old, and she has been out in the car serving papers as long as she can remember.  She typed her first affidavit when she was ten years old, and after working for SSP for countless years, doing whatever we needed her to do, she and her husband opened their own business and became sub-contractors.

In case  you are wondering where we found such a wonderful team, Jennifer is the daughter of Greg and MaryLee Rustand, owners of SSP, she and her husband Jeff are carrying on the tradition, they take their son Aidan with them on simple postings from time to time.   Jennifer is a school teacher, working on getting her Masters in Education and continues to serve papers with her husband.  They make the “Hottest Team” when it comes to serving, they serve for both offices, SSP week-day evenings and Moses Lake Branch office one weekend a month.  One weekend a month they conduct a “blitz” and have been known to serve more than 75 to 80 papers in just a day and a half.  When it comes to “getting down to business” this team is hard to beat.  Both offices are happy to have Jennifer and Jeff as servers.

Process Servers

Most of our Process Servers have been serving papers for more than a decade, they know the laws of process for our State, always watch for laws of process concerning out of state papers, and appreciate special case instructions for those “hard to serve” papers. The servers are trained in house and required to pass a written test given by our company.

As you can see, SSP is a small business, with 98% of our Management Team being employed for more than ten years, two of them cresting twenty years of employment out of the thirty years of doing business. SSP is a professional company that treats it’s employees with respect, provides a nice working environment, and offers a fare and reasonable benefit packet in order to provide our clients with service practices that can be Trusted.
